2004 Del Rio, Del Rio Vineyard, Oregon
This 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot blend is a rich medley of currant, black cherry, and dark fruits. Aged for 19 months in 70% new French oak and 30% 1 year old American/French Oak, the finish lingers with nicely balanced tannins and spicy wood tones. Enjoy this wine with lamb, pork, and all red meats for the next six years.
Only 850 cases of this wine were produced.

2004 Merlot, Columbia Valley
This
blend of 86% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7%
Malbec represents a selection of the finest vineyards in the Columbia Valley. Only 14 barrels were selected for the blend.
Aged in new French Oak for 16 months, this wine is rich in blueberry, tobacco, cedar and spice. Pair this wine with beef, game, or tomato based dishes and good friends.
This wine was rated as Outstanding at the Seattle Wine Awards. The

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, Walla Walla Valley
With 11 years of winemaking in Washington State, Whitman Cellars winemaker has established relationships with some of the best vineyard managers in the state. This wine is a reflection of those relationships and the true quality of the vineyards and their unique characteristics.
Aged for 18 months on new French Oak, this balanced wine is robust, with flavors of blackberry, cherry, leather, tobacco, chocolate, smoke and spice, and long velvety tannins lend it to a long rich finish. Expect this wine to age gracefully for the next 5 years.

2004 Narcissa, Columbia Valley
This robust Bordeaux-style blend is multi-layered with tobacco, coffee, leather, cherry, blackberry, and white pepper. The wine is inviting with soft, round acidity, a rich mid-palate and long balanced tannins on the finish. Enjoy this wine with red meat or tomato-based dishes for the next five years.
This wine received an EXCEPTIONAL
rating from Beverage Experts (BevX) and rated as Outstanding at the Seattle Wine Awards. Wine and Spirits Magazine named the 2002 vintage of this wine one of the Best Wines of 2006 (see

2005 Syrah, Walla Walla Valley
Washington
state terroir is gaining a reputation for producing
some of the finest Syrahs to date. The Syrah grape
varietal gained its reputaion in the Rhone Valley
of France.
This Walla Walla Valley Syrah is characterized by big, ripe, intense layers of blackberry, cherry, pepper, and meaty tones. Firm structure lends to this richly colored Syrah. Enjoy with hearty stews, steak, and roasts or tomato based pasta dishes.
This

points from Wine Spectator and Wine and Spirits magazine (see

2007 Viognier, Columbia Valley
This
Viognier (pronounced Vee-on-yay) was fermented in
new French Oak barrels and aged on the lees for two
months.
Pear, lemon, grapefruit and gooseberries describe this wine on the nose. A crisp mouth feel, balanced acidity and subtle tones of toast and vanilla finish out with a lingering richness. This is truly a Northwest style wine which pairs nicely with oysters, crab, salmon, fish and Thai cuisine.
This wine was rated Best of Class at the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition. The
2003, 2004, and 2006 vintages of this wine all received 90
points from Wine Spectator (see
other wine awards). |
